Depth percentage:
Refers to the height of a diamond from the culet to the table. The depth percentage is found by taking the height of the stone and dividing it by the diameter of the stone.

The depth percentage is tied into the quality of the diamond's cut. A diamond that has a depth percentage that is too low or too high will lack magical sparkle. To learn more about the cut of a diamond please visit our Diamond Education section.
