It typically documents key information about your diamond or jewelry item such as the cut, color, clarity, carat weight for any diamonds and millimeter dimensions for any diamonds or precious stones. These key items are documented so that your insurance agency can calculate a coverage rate for your diamond or piece of fine jewelry and provide a replacement if needed.
